“Powder Room” tip from The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Girlfriend Getaways (Alpha, 2009) by Lisa Kasanicky: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has come up with a nifty 3-1-1 rule to help us remember airline carry-on restrictions: 3-oz. bottles, packed in 1 zip-top bag, and 1 bag per passenger. Here’s a translation: all liquids, gels, and aerosols must be in 3-oz. or smaller containers, which should be crammed in 1 quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. Stick to the 3-1-1 rule and security check in will go faster. For more information about airline restrictions, go to www.tsa.gov.
