On Saturday, Oct. 22, she will be on location at the Target at 4734 East Ray Road in Phoenix 85044 from noon to 6 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 23 she’s heading north to the Target at 15444 North Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale 85260 from noon to 6 p.m.
If you can’t make it, we’ve got the scoop on the most striking looks from the fall 2011 runway shows with products from JK Jemma Kidd collection, all available in a Target beauty aisle near you!
Smoke It Up I-Kit ($22)
The ultimate for on-the-go glamour, this sleek palette includes everything to create the perfect smoky eye. Five complementary shades in a mix of shimmer, pearl and matte finishes are easily blended, and can be used wet or dry for subtle shading or dramatic definition. The stylish flip lid design with built in mirror and double ended shadow brush make this palette ideal for touch ups.
Jemma’s Insider’s tip:
“While silver is usually quite difficult to wear, the silver shade included in this kit creates a lovely, subtle shimmer and can be used over the black or the brown shades for a nice highlight.”
Red Carpet Lip & Cheek Tint & Gloss ($18)
Dramatic blush was one of the most popular statement looks on the fall runways, but it is not the easiest to pull off. The intuitive roller ball applicator on the JK Jemma Kidd Lip & Cheek Tint & Gloss makes the look foolproof, providing a fuss-free, controlled application. Available in Dress Up (berry red) and Glam Up (petal pink), this sheer cheek stain provides a fresh-faced, natural flush of color. As a lip gloss, the clear and non-tacky formula adds a touch of shine to lips.
Jemma’s Insider’s tip:
“What I love about this stain is that it has a rollerball on the end, so the application is really easy — just roll it onto your lips or onto the apple of cheeks and blend in with your fingers.”
I-Sculpt Shadow & Liner ($17)
Instantly transform eyes with all-out glam or sophisticated daytime sparkle using these vibrant, blendable shadows with convenient smudging sponge tip applicator. The innovative pen delivers a flattering and defining glitter liner in a self-sharpening package. Available in three essential shades — Mary Q (charcoal), Carnaby St. (brown) and Kings Road (plum).
Jemma’s Insider’s tip:
“Simply blend the eye shadow into the eye liner and smudge to create a beautiful, smoky finish. The brown shade is flattering for day and great for more mature skins. The black is really sultry, a bit rock ‘n roll and looks great in the evenings. The purple is flattering on all skin tones and it really helps the eyes pop.”
NEW Shades: Hi-Design Eye Color ($16)
Inspired by couture looks spotted on runways around the globe, the Hi-Design Eye Color collection receives a revamp with the addition of three striking new shades – Stylized (pearl emerald), Trend (matte teal) and Sashay (pearl lilac).
Jemma’s Insider’s tip:
“Trend is beautiful with blue eyes and flattering for fair skin, while Stylized has an olive feel to it so it works best for brown eyes. Sashay is stunning if you have any kind of red tones to your skin or hair.”
NEW Shades: I-Design Eye Color ($16)
The popular suite of flattering I-Design shades gets a subtle and sophisticated update with Luxe (pearl taupe), Scene (pearl brulee) and Silhouette (matte bone ivory) shades.
Jemma’s Insider’s tip:
“These are your wearable, everyday colors. Use Silhouette as a highlight underneath the brow or as a wash. Luxe and Scene are lovely shades for day that everyone can wear.”
