New from L'Oreal Advanced haircare: A reconstructing mask that repairs five signs of damage in one use.
I may have a slight obsession with trying to emulate Kim Kardashian’s gorgeous long locks. Which means I’ve been growing out my hair for the past year. Which also means I get regular trims and pamper my hair, right? Yeah, not quite. But L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm promises to repair up to one year of damage in one use. Sound too good to be true? Maybe not.
New this month, L'Oreal Total Repair 5 haircare line was designed to repair damaged hair by improving strength, vitality, silkiness and shine while rebuilding hair fibers. When used with the shampoo, L’Oreal’s Damage-Erasing balm claims to reduce one year of damage in a single use.
I used the balm in conjunction with my regular shampoo and instantly noticed a difference. While my normal conditioner always leaves my hair soft, L'Oreal’s balm is much thicker than the typical conditioner and left my hair soft in the way I only get from salon visits. My locks were super smooth and my ends looked healthy, though a few split ends could still be found. The balm does have a slight perfume scent, which I enjoyed and found myself preferring over my normal conditioner’s botanical aroma. I wouldn’t say that this product can undo a year’s worth of damage (then again, I didn’t use the complete system), but I was satisfied with the results after several uses. My hair looked healthy, shiny, and not like I’ve been neglecting the salon!
L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm can be purchased at most mass retailers and drugstores or lorealparisusa.com for $6.99. Get a free sample for a limited time.
