Last Saturday morning, I plodded over to the front window of my house and yanked open the shade. “Good Gravy, ” I gurgled to myself, spilling coffee down my Vickie’s Pink PJs. About 12 feet in front of me, sauntering across the street was a huge bobcat. He had the telltale pointed ears and stumpy black-tipped tail, fat paws and a thick beautiful coat. And he was much bigger than I would have thought, maybe 30 pounds.
Now being that there was a locked, double-paned window between me and this stunning creature, I really wouldn’t call this a genuine Nature Girl moment. But as I watched him disappear into the thick desert brush on the other side of the street, I said a silent nature mantra to myself that went a little something like this: Please, Baby Jesus, keep him safe and please, Tom Cruise, don’t let him be killed by one of those moronic RLVs (ridiculously large vehicles).
Okay so my inconsequential supplication probably won’t win me any points with the great alien in the sky, and I certainly won’t get my Nature Girl Brownie badge for crouching safely behind monsoon-proof glass to goggle the wildlife. But at least I can cuddle up to nature with a tall, glorious bottle of anything from Nature Girl’s botanical line of face, body, bath and hair products.
Fresh, funky and fabulous, Nature Girl is made from certified organic and wildcrafted ingredients that are carefully sourced from all over the globe. Effective, gentle and oh-so-natural, try them for yourself at Nature-Girl.com or find them in Anthropologie stores nationwide.
