We may have just struck gold here, Spa Girls. After a long summer full of sun exposure, swimming and hair color, Amika Nourishing Hair Mask is just the Rx you need for conditioned, silky-smooth hair.
It’s really easy to use, too. Just apply the Amika mask generously in the shower after shampooing and let it sit for 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and you’re done! You’ll notice a difference in the texture of your hair almost immediately, but the smoothness really shines once you’ve styled and set your ‘do.
You can use the Amika Nourishing Hair Mask as a weekly deep conditioning treatment (ahem, it’s theperfectadd-on to your DIY Sunday) or, if you can spare it, as an every day conditioner. Follow up with the Amika Oil Treatment for best results – it’s also in your SSS gift bag.
Honestly, I was surprised at just how well the Amika Nourishing Mask worked. I’d put it on par with deep conditioning treatments I’ve had at expensive salons. What I discovered after a bit of light research is that this is due to its two main ingredients: sea buckthorn berry and argan oil. The essential oil from the sea buckthorn berry strengthens and fortifies hair while the argan oil – same thing found in Moroccan Oil, FYI – smooths and de-frizzes locks.
I’d recommend the Amika Nourishing Mask to any of my fellow Spa Girls, but it works especially well on curly/frizzy and color-processed hair. Have you tried it yet? What did you think?
