I have to give props to fellow blog maven Bon Bons in the Bath for turning me onto the handmade beauty goodies at Etsy.com. Honestly, I had previously dismissed it as a portal for dorky drink coasters and crotched baby trinkets. Oh contraire, mon fraire. After a few hours of surfing the site and salivating over their handcrafted soaps and potions, I must admit: I'm in love. Definitely check out Daisycakes Soaps, where you'll find everything from Limited Edition Tomato Leaf Soaps to Strawberry Cheesecake Lip Balm and Carmel Apple Soy Candles -- all handmade from quality ingredients at amazing prices. I'm also head-over-heels for the vegan, good, clean fun of Lushbox, Inc. The edgy packaging caught my eye but what drew me in was the Pancake Vegan Whipped Body Frosting with hints of sweet buttermilk pancakes drowned in rich maple syrup. What mortal can resist that? Finally, check out Karen's Soaps. I've always wanted to own a goat but her adorable Chestnut Horse Goat Milk Soap may do in the meantime. Her Ocean Rain Loofah Soap is brilliant. Oh, and should you be in the mood for some dorky drink coasters, they have those too and they're not half bad. I'm partial to the pink SkeleTina Coasters by Madisigns. Happy shopping!
