Bars for Boys: Anthony Logistics for Men Soaps

As consummate spa girls, we're down to try out just about any product you throw at us (except that vibrating bath mitt, no one's touching that one). But when it comes to men's grooming essentials we hand them over to the guys. Seriously, we gotta draw the line somewhere. I volunteered my three brothers to test out the Anthony Logistics for Men Glycerin Cleansing Bar and Mud Scrub Exfoliating Bar. Keep in mind that my bros are a far cry from the Spa Boy type so when asking them to take on this task, they looked at the soaps like they were foreign objects from outer space. After a little persuasion (and tossing their splintered-looking deodorant bars) they agreed to give the soaps a try. Here's the straight from the shower report.

Glycerin Cleansing Bar (Citrus Blend)
Why they dig it: The unique, spiced citrus scent lasted longer on skin than most soaps and the bar's slick consistency offered a better over-all clean. The soap had a medium-grade lather and didn't leave behind any hard to rinse extra white suds. After using, skin felt less dry and tight and the formula didn't cause any irritation after shaving.
Why it's good: Healing botanicals, aloe vera, glycerin and Vitamin E moisturize and orange extract to exfoliates for a no-nick shave. Can be used for both face and body and leaves behind a fresh post shower aroma.

Mud Scrub Exfoliating Bar
Why they dig it: A full summer of swimming and a week at the beach made for parched, borderline crispy skin. The black mud bar power blasted dirt, grime and dryness especially on hands and nappy flip-flop feet. The soap had a faint clean cologne scent and scrubbed away impurities quickly, which cut down on shower time in the morning for a few extra minutes of ZZZ's. Just be careful to completely rinse shower after use to remove all coal-colored remnants.
Why it's good: Made with Dead Sea mud, the soap bar is opaque black with tiny white bumps of oatmeal that deeply exfoliate. It's also chocked full of glycerin and aloe vera to soften and hydrate.

Overall, the Anthony soaps were a big hit. For boys who never use lotion, they liked the soaps' skin-softening benefits and were totally into each bar's spicy scent. I even overheard a slight panic attack over a missing soap that had been moved to another bathroom. Future full-blown Spa Boys?
