Metabolic Boot Camp Introduced at Spa Avania at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort

We adore Spa Avania at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort for so many reasons. The breezy beauty of the indoor-outdoor relaxation areas. The lush lotus pond that guards the crystal blue French Celtic mineral pool. The evolving music and lighting that subtly changes with your body's natural rhythm throughout the day. Ahhh. We love the spa so much, we might even consider going just for a workout, especially now with the introduction of classes under an hour that fire up your metabolism and keep you burning calories all day long. Bring it. The spa has recently partnered with Lobo Fitness for Metabolic Boot Camp -- total body fitness classes that rev up your metabolism, detoxify your body, build muscles and burn tons of calories. Featured exclusively at Spa Avania, Metabolic Boot Camp was created by Lobo founder and native Phoenician Vincent Ruiz. These unique 55-minute Boot Camp classes combine athletic drills, sports simulated moves, plyometrics and isolation of major muscle groups. To complement Spa Avania's time-of-day philosophy, Boot Camp is offered as Morning, Midday and Evening sessions, which are designed to correspond to the body's natural rhythms and requirements throughout the day. The Morning session combines athletic drills, sports simulated moves, plyometrics and isolation of major muscle groups. The Midday session increases body awareness, core activation, strength and power. The Evening session is a combo of core work, muscle stretching and deep breathing to achieve muscle relaxation and tension release while restoring mind, body and spirit. The sessions are available to resort and non-resort guests. Group session rates start at $18 per person or $25 for a class and use of the amazing spa facilities. Purchase three classes for $45, give classes for $75 and 10 classes for $150. Additional fitness services include personal one-on-one training, full body weight training, core training, cardio training, and deep breathing and stretching. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Spa Avania.
